How long does the online mixing and mastering process take?
Standard turnaround is 48–72 hours once all project details are aligned and confirmed. As a general reference, a full multitrack mix and master, including revisions, is typically completed within 7 to 10 days, depending on complexity and feedback rounds.
Do you offer revisions?
Yes. Our service includes 3 free revision rounds. Feedback is welcome and encouraged — the goal is to reach a final version that fully represents your vision while maintaining technical integrity.
What file formats do you expect?
For best results, provide audio files in WAV or FLAC format. When exporting stems, use 24-bit / 48kHz or higher, and make sure there is no processing on the master bus — no limiting, compression or clipping. Clean, unprocessed files allow for accurate decisions and ensure the best possible final result.
Is vocal tuning included in the service?
Yes, vocal tuning is included in all packages. We recommend Melodyne® for transparent, natural-sounding correction when the goal is realism and musicality. When a more stylized sound is required, we also use Auto-Tune® to shape the vocal as part of the artistic direction. The approach depends on the song, the genre, and your vision — not on presets.
Where is the mixing and mastering done?
All mixing and mastering is done in our own calibrated studio environment. This allows for consistent monitoring, accurate decision-making and reliable translation across different playback systems.
What does a mixing engineer do?
Our job is to obsess over every technical detail — instruments, vocals, effects — so they work in perfect harmony. For people to dance, they need to feel the kick drum. For them to reflect, the lyrics must be heard with clarity. For a song to be catchy, the melody must take center stage. We have a deep understanding of the nature of sound that makes a recording translate perfectly across every playback system. We handle the science, so you can focus on the art.
Is mixing and mastering the same thing?
No — they use similar tools, but in very different contexts. Mixing works inside the song: each track is treated individually, then balanced together for clarity, depth and impact. Mastering works on the finished stereo file, focusing on musical balance, loudness, and translation across systems. In short: mixing builds the song from the inside. Mastering refines the vision and ensures it translates everywhere.
